Ahead of the New York Toy Fair this weekend, Microsoft announced a “master licensing agreement” between 343 Industries and toy giant Mattel. The collaboration is expected to bring greater visibility to Halo products, while unifying “the design, development, and creative vision” of its consumer products.
Microsoft has worked with Mattel for its Halo Mega Bloks franchise, but the new partnership brings an expanded line of toys, the newest of which will be available this fall. Two of the new toys—the BOOMCo. Assault Rifle Blaster and Magnum Blaster—have even made their way into Halo 5’s in-game armory.
Among the new toys are a 12-inch Master Chief with his Warthog, 6 inch Elite figure with a Ghost, a radio-controlled Warthog, and “life-like” Halo Energy Sword. Microsoft’s blog also lists an assortment of 12 and six inch figures. Check them out in the slideshow above.
