Konami will be changing Metal Gear Online’s match respawns with its next update.
The biggest change, Konami says, will be “how player suicide or being fultoned affects a respawn.” Right now, players choose their respawn points, but with this next update, locations are limited to just the HQ.
As mentioned in the post, this change will affect Metal Gear Online’s Bounty Hunter mission, which is “heavily dependent on fulton gameplay.” However, Konami is confident this will add new tactics to “multiple mission types.”
Respawn changes are also coming to the Comm Control game mode. Players will no longer be able to respawn at a contested Comm Link location. Instead, players will have to spawn at another claimed Comm Link location, and head back over to the threatened point.
