Creative Assembly has announced Steam Workshop support will be available from day one for Total War: Warhammer.
The Assembly Kit will also be released along with the Database Editor so you’ll be able to create your own mods. Creative Assembly previously announced the game would not be supporting mods, however the developer has caved to fan-demands and made it a reality.
Mods will be available when the game launches, as anyone who has attended one of the company’s Mod Summits in the last three years will be given early access to the game and mod tools. Creative Assembly is currently working with well-known modders Magnar and Dresden in order to create custom Legendary Lord start positions and alter settlement rules allowing each race to settle in every region.
