At Microsoft’s E3 2016 press conference earlier today, Mojang introduced Microsoft Realms, which will allow players across Xbox One, Windows 10, iOS, and Android to play Minecraft together.
It will also be Gear VR compatible.
Several add-ons are also coming to Minecraft: Pocket Edition later this year, including city texture packs and adjustable villager AI.
According to the Minecraft team, this is the “first step towards a fully moddable Minecraft.”
Minecraft Realms will be available next year.
