Video Game Screenshots As Art (Or Wallpaper)

Andy Cull, a screenshot artist we’ve featured before on Kotaku, has recently put together a gallery containing some of the best shots he’s taken in games over the past couple of years. If you want/need new desktop wallpaper, this is for you.

If you’re wondering how he gets some of these shots and effects, like most “screenshotters” he takes advantage of a few tools, which do things like free up the camera (to get those dramatic angles) and occasionally stuff like custom shaders.

You can see more of Andy’s screenshot work at his Flickr page.
