Activision’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare debuts at No.1 on the UK sales chart for the week ended November 7, ending Battlefield 1‘s reign at the top. According to sales monitor Chart-Track, its launch week sales have not outperformed 2015’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, with sales down 48 percent comparatively.
As noted by Chart-Track, this is likely due to the lack of Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Infinite Warfare, as there were for Black Ops 3. However, sales of the PS4 and Xbox One versions are also down 43 percent when compared to last year’s entry.
Battlefield 1 moves down to No.2 to make way for Infinite Warfare, and is followed by FIFA 17 at No.3. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition slips two places down to No.4, ahead of Titanfall 2 at No.5 and new entry Football Manager 2017 at No.6.
Skylanders Imaginators leaps back into the top ten from No.19 to No.7. This surge in interest could be due to the debut of Skylanders Academy, an animated show exclusive to Netflix.
