Winnie the Pooh Live-Action Film Inspired By Ted

Disney’s live-action Winnie the Pooh movie, titled Christopher Robin, has found its director in World War Z helmer Marc Forster.

According to Variety, Forster will direct the movie while Alex Ross Perry is penning the script for a story that will reportedly be similar to that of Seth McFarlane’s adult comedy Ted, but will offer a more family-friendly take on the “fantasy-buddy” premise.

As the film’s title implies, the movie will center around Christopher Robin, the young boy in A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh book series. An animated feature based on the beloved children’s franchise released back in 2011.
