Reed Morano’s next film may be taking place in a galaxy far, far away.
During a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, Morano mentioned she recently met with the head of Lucasfilm, Kathleen Kennedy. Morano did not reveal many details about her meeting with Kennedy, but Morano said the two spoke about adventure movies.
“Any movie that I put my finger on that I loved when I was growing up was a movie that
produced,” Morano told THR. “Anyway, it was a great meeting. Obviously, I can’t say anything about what else we were talking about.”
Morano offers no specifics on if certain projects were discussed as potential partnerships, but Lucasfilm also has Rian Johnson’s upcoming Star Wars trilogy to consider, of which he is only confirmed to direct the first movie, and any other future Star Wars films following Episode IX’s release.
