Update: Lucasfilm Would Love to Eventually Make a Lando Spin-Off
Update: Premiere France has since updated its original story, revealing there was a misunderstanding between the publication’s journalist and Kathleen Kennedy.
What Kennedy actually said was Lucasfilm would love to eventually make a Lando spin-off one day, but this is currently not a priority. Instead, Kennedy teased more potential movies about Han and Chewie.
“We would love to tell a story about Lando Calrissian one day, but it’s not relevant, it would be fun to tell the story of Han and Chewie …,” Kennedy said, translation via Entertainment Weekly.
