Westworld’s latest Season 2 episode, “Akane No Mai,” features a few songs you might’ve recognized.
The episode, which fully introduces Shogun World, includes composer Ramin Djawadi’s re-imagined versions of “C.R.E.A.M.” (originally performed by Wu-Tang Clan) and “Paint It, Black” (originally performed by The Rolling Stones).
You can listen to the new takes on “C.R.E.A.M.” here and “Paint It, Black” here. Djawadi also did a new version of Nirvana’s “Heart Shaped Box” for one of Season 2’s trailers.
