EA has kicked off E3 2018 and its EA Play series of events with a flurry of new trailers for its top upcoming games. We’ve finally gotten some new details about Anthem, BioWare’s Destiny-esque sci-fi adventure, as well as another look at DICE’s upcoming World War II shooter, Battlefield V.
Those certainly weren’t the only games EA showcased during its press conference, though. The publisher also shared new trailers for a number of its upcoming sports titles, including Madden NFL 19, FIFA 19, and NBA Live 19. We’ve also seen several surprise announcements, most notably the adorable new platformer Unravel Two and the next EA Originals title, the haunting Sea of Solitude.
We’ve rounded up all of the new trailers from EA’s E3 presentation below. For more in-depth info on the new announcements, be sure to check out all the news from the EA press conference. You can also check out our EA press conference liveblog if you want to re-experience it all.
Anthem is easily BioWare’s most ambitious title. Focusing on the exploits of heavily armored freelancers in on a hostile alien planet, you’ll work together with other players online to take on dangerous missions while exploring the furthest reaches of the world. While this totally sounds a lot like Destiny, BioWare’s approach to the concept of the shared-world shooter looks like an interesting change of pace from other games of the genre, and we can’t wait to see more.

Unravel 2 focuses on the adventures of Yarny, a small, woollen toy. According to Developer Coldwood, this sequel will be a more upbeat affair than the original, with a slight shift away from puzzler and towards the platformer end of the spectrum. Yarny is more agile than before, and this is utilized in some of the story mode’s trickier sections. New to experience this time around is the addition of drop-in / drop-out co-op play.
