Overwatch’s New Busan Map Now Live On PC, PS4, And Xbox One

Blizzard has rolled out another new map for its popular hero shooter, Overwatch. Busan, the recently revealed Control map themed around D.Va, is now live on PS4, Xbox One, and PC following its debut on the game’s Public Test Realm last month during Gamescom 2018.

Set in South Korea, Busan encompasses three distinct areas that players vie for control of: Sanctuary, Downtown, and MEKA Base. Sanctuary is a “serene” temple surrounded by autumnal trees and gardens; Downtown has players battling across a train station and karaoke bar, among other metropolitan fixtures; and MEKA Base is the home base of the defense force to which D.Va belongs.

You can get a closer look at Busan in the gallery above. You can also watch us play several matches on the map while it was still on the PTR at the top of this story. Busan arrives alongside a new Overwatch patch that makes adjustments to a number of heroes, including Brigitte and Reinhardt. Blizzard outlined all of the changes from the new update in the full patch notes on its website.

Busan was first announced during the Korean Fanfest event last month. It debuted alongside a new animated short featuring D.Va. Blizzard also introduced a new D.Va skin, sprays, and player icon to the game recently, but those could only be unlocked through the Nano Cola Challenge, which ended on September 10.
