We already knew Liam Neeson was a Jedi master with a very particular set of skills, but it turns out he’s also got quite an affinity for horses, if a recent anecdote is anything to go off of.
In an interview with Page Six, Neeson discussed his upcoming film The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, a six chapter western anthology. In this film, he takes lead in the Meal Ticket chapter, playing an impresario who travels with an artist in a horse-drawn wagon. Apparently, Neeson and this horse go way back.
“I play a traveling impresario,” said Neeson. “The odd thing is the horse who pulls my wagon knew me. You won’t believe it. I’m saying this horse knew me. He actually remembered me from another Western we made a while back. I love animals. When we worked together before I took special care of him. I fed him treats, gave him apples.”
