Worst-Reviewed Shows on Netflix in 2018, According to Critics

Netflix is making a big splash in the digital entertainment market as it prepares to compete with newcomer Disney+ in Q4 of 2019. In 2018 alone, the streaming provider released over 700 original projects, including movies, television series, comedy specials, and documentaries. While Netflix does have some critically acclaimed original series in 2018, like The Haunting of Hill House and Glow Season 2, there were some misfires that left both fans and critics divided.

Below, we compiled a list of Netflix’s worst-reviewed shows in 2018, using Metacritic as our barometer. According to Metacritic, which grades on a scale of 0 to 100, “We carefully curate a large group of the world’s most respected critics, assign scores to their reviews, and apply a weighted average to summarize the range of their opinions.
